Who I am:
I am a 30 year old liberal from New Orleans. I was raised in a small town outside of the city, but I am more “at home” in the city than out of it. A part-time job during my college years segued into a career in “big-box” retail management while my degree sits still unfinished.

What I stand for:
I abhor hatred, prejudice, stereotyping and religious extremists who propagate hatred, stereotyping and prejudice in the name of their god, God or gods.
I love what America stands for, the promise and opportunity that CAN exist here. I believe in the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence. I believe in Dr. King’s I Have A Dream Speech. I believe in Barack Obama’s A More Perfect Union Speech.

Content:
Just like everyone else in the world I have opinions on everything. There isn’t one particular hobby or interest I have that I would consider myself an expert in. I couldn’t begin to define what content this blog will contain as I have no idea how my interests will change tomorrow, next week or next year. I post about what I like. I have an avid interest in music, computers, the internet, reading, television shows, the movie industry, etc. If you disagree feel free to engage me, challenge me, teach me something new or show me a different side to the argument.
